Irish Water Covers

An aspect I had wrote about in my second year dissertation where I talked about the role of graphic design in Irish culture in typography. When I was writing this, I was looking at pub and road signage for primary research. However, an aspect I was completely ignoring was right at my feet. Literally. I noticed it one day when walking through Dundalk, at the use of detail and Irish typography being used on something a lot of people wouldnt of noticed. I didn’t notice it for years and years. But now that I have seen it, I always notice it now. It’s nice walking around different places and seeing different weathered versions or if ones are damaged in any way creating a new pattern.
